    308 Winchester

I am going to be reloading some 308 just for general purpose, pinking if you will. What is the typical powder people are using?
I have 6 boxes of these I got free from Hornady when I bought a press. 3031 30 CAL .308 150 GR SP

Lots of options out there. Ramshot TAC, 4064, AA2520, etc.
Open the book to the 150gr page and I bet there are 10-12 at least.
Do you have any powders on hand yet for it?
If not, copy the page in the book, and see what the store has. Best to have all the options on hand in case they don't have a specific one

Exactly what Wes said. Personally i had better luck with IMR 4895. Every rifle is different. And I'd also suggest trying a 165 or 168gr bullet.

It's 748 for me. Been using it for years in 308Win and several other chamberings.
Used it when I shot competition using a 155gr Palma. --- SAWMAN

Thanks for the suggestion, I like hearing what others have had success with. Wes, I like your idea as well. I have a big r close but they dont carry everything and Bass Pro charges $20 more per pound to feed the fish.

Thanks buddy!! It is the best way to do it really. I used to take pics of every caliber I loaded, then go see what they had that might work, when powder was tough to get
